Puberty 101
This
site, started by a social worker, was one of the first places
on the Web where teens could ask questions about sex and puberty.
It's now maintained by Virtual Kids and remains a good spot to
get frank information.
The
Scoop
Use the pull-down
menu to find good information on menstruation and puberty. Aimed
mainly at younger teens. Although the site is sponsored by Kotex,
it has sections for both boys and girls.
www.teengrowth.com
Lots of information
on puberty and teen health in a Q&A format
MOSTLY FOR GIRLS

is the "interactive growing girl" who illustrates stages
of puberty. Also information on menstruation. From the makers
of Always.
Growing Jr.
The makers of Always
products describe this site as "all the information you
need to know about puberty and your first period."
Growing
For the slightly
older teen, information on reproductive anatomy, puberty, menstruation,
PMS, and related topics.
Tampon Safety: TSS Now Rare, but Women
Still Should Take Care.
From the FDA Consumer Magazine, March-April 2000 issue.
